Mutual Aid

When I used to work in the first phases of Accountability, after the evaluations of the Asian Tsunami, I used to think that if it was truly taken on wholesale by the international aid and development system, then increased accountability to those our Global minority organisations used to call beneficiaries, could really change the system for the better. I guess it would be fair to say that has not happened, but I think it would also be fair to say that mutual aid is a positive ongoing thread of needed change.
